A Brand New Beginning - A brief history of our new company.

Tunic has arrived.

I’ve been waiting for this moment for a very long time. Ever since I was in high school I had dreamed of creating my own company. It wouldn’t have made sense to found a company around building legos, video games, longboards, music, and the occasional airsoft gun...

So I waited a few years.

Now it’s 2017, I’ve moved to the West Coast, and I needed a firm foundation for my work. Graphic design is only a part of my passion, but design does a great job at encompassing a variety of different fields. Tunic is currently focused on brand and graphic design, but our long term goal is more broadly focused. We’re here to create many different products under the umbrella of design.

There are a few companies that I greatly admire, one being UsTwo. They’re a design agency that helps share company stories. Past that, UsTwo creates their own products internally. They have released Monument Valley (1 & 2), and many other interesting software-based products. I admire their commitment to their craft, and I often look at them for inspiration.

What are we here for?

At this point in time, Tunic exists to serve a need. Many companies today are interested in branding because they recognize that their image has an impact on their business. We want to help follow through on that concept; business can suffer because of a bad brand, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, business can flourish because of a good brand.

From the general brand design, logo, messaging, etc., all the way to campaigns and motion design, Tunic can improve brand recognition, assist in evaluating a company’s brand strategy, and improve revenue through a better relationship with customers.

Design is an incredible tool when used effectively.

I can’t wait to see what we do together.
